12.7.22 - consistency is key, and Lin kept the perfect record going. She was exceptionally thorough without any downside to getting my teeth cleaned. I’ve been seeing Dr. Steven for my regular cleanings for years and just recently finished Invisalign treatment. The process was swift and his instructions were clear. At the end I was given a whitening treatment and these chompers are looking great. Highly recommend More

Editing my previous review: I originally posted about a delay I faced with my appointment soon after the office opened. After going back a few more times for follow up appointments, I can genuinely say that my 1 poor experience was an anomaly. I've had significant work done at this office, and the process has been transparent, I was as comfortable as possible during the procedures, and any questions I had after my visits were answered by Dr. Steven Ritholtz or his associates in a timely manner. If you are going for a cleaning, or for a more intricate work, I can't imagine there is a better option in New York City than this office. A well deserved 5 starts. More
Dr. Jalal Fatehi is an incredibly professional and highly skilled dental surgeon. I couldn't ask for a better experience. His assistant Mary was extremely helpful. I had three wisdom teeth extracted at the same time. Two extractions needed stitches. It only took about 30 minutes for Dr. Fatehi to remove all three wisdom teeth. I have a small mouth, and I can't open it very wide, but Dr. Fatehi was able to treat me comfortably. Today my mouth feels so much better. I highly recommend Dr. Fatehi. Thank you and God bless. More

Dr. Ritzholtz has been my dentist for over a decade. I’ve been very happy with my experience over the years. Staff are professional, cleanings are comfortable, and its actually a pleasure to go to the dentist for checkups. Recently I also completed Invisalign. Also a great experience. So much so I wish I had done it years earlier. I now have perfectly straight teeth and the treatment took less than 6 months start to finish. Would highly recommend his practice. More

When I arrived on the morning of my appointment, the check in process was quick and I was in the exam room on time. The best part of my experience, though, was Gus, my dental hygienist. From the beginning, it was clear that he knew what he was doing. I really appreciated how he clearly communicated what he was doing during each part of the cleaning. He took as much time as it took to get my gums cleaned out after several years of missed cleanings. He did such a great job that the doctor even said that he saved me a trip to the periodonist, which would have undoubtedly been expensive and painful. If you do opt to visit PDA, definitely ask if Gus is available. I just went back for a follow up appointment today and received the same level of excellent care. Two thumbs up. More
I recommend this dentist to EVERYONE. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes, and my most recent appointment during COVID felt very safe. My hygienist was named Gus and he was the absolute best - he explained every part of the COVID-adjusted cleaning in detail to make sure I was comfortable. During the cleaning, he was so friendly, efficient, and clear about every part of the process. I have never felt any pressure to buy expensive products or procedures, which I really appreciate. Cannot recommend this whole practice highly enough!! More

The main receptionist always checks me in before I've even come up to her desk, the hygienists (Gus & Meena?) have been professional and not too abrasive on my pearly whites. Had such a great experience as a new PDA Dental patient! I was advised to arrive a bit early due to new patient paperwork. I completed it on a tablet which was quick and easy. Every person in the office was polite, patient, thorough and super nice! I was called in at the exact time of my appointment and had the sweetest hygienist who explained everything she was going to do for my cleaning every step of the way. As a very nervous dental patient, I felt at ease and comfortable the entire visit. X-rays were done with the utmost care and Dr. Erwin provided my options with my best interests in mind. The office is organized and clean - which is important! My most recent experience here was for a bit of a dental emergency, and as a continuing client, I couldn't have been happier with the expediency of seeing a doctor and the outcome. I appreciate greatly that the office was able to see me day-of and everything went very smoothly. Dr. Erwin is not my normal Dr. but she had fantastic bed-side manners, explained everything thoroughly to me, and resolved my dental issue. She was excellent and I was grateful she could see me on a day my Dr. was out. I would highly recommend this dental office. I get regular emails about promotions, closings, and holiday hours. It's so easy to get to, just a block or so from Fulton station in the financial district, and all the staff I have ever interacted with (in person and via phone) are fantastic professionals in their own respective roles. Had a great experience at PDA Dental. They were incredibly gentle during my cleaning after I told them I have anxiety and pass out for no reason (didn't this time! woohoo!). I was seen by a technician who took x-rays and endearingly congratulated me on getting through them--even though my anxiety is more with the cleanings hehe. Then my hygienist was incredibly personable and walked me through each step and was gentle when requested. Lastly, the doctor I saw (Dr. Steven) was super helpful in answering my questions. I've been going here for 8 years. Everyone here is super helpful, nice and good at their job. I've been here for regular cleanings, invisalign and even to repair an emergency chipped tooth! They have been wonderful and helpful all along. It's easy to make a reservation and their admin staff (shoutout to Lonny!) are excellent and super professional. More

I had a dental emergency abroad. I hadn't met Dr. Grassi yet but she called me back once I left a message with the after hours message service at the office. She put me at ease, and had me come in first thing when I returned to the states. She was very gentle and comprehensive in her exam and discussion. I was so relieved that she fixed my tooth so quickly. I haven't been a patient at Premier long, but I am highly appreciative of their help in this emergency! More

I had to switch dentists because my insurance changed, I chose Premier because it is close to my office. I had a routine cleaning and exam with Dr. Grassi. She went over my x-rays in depth explaining how flossing can prevent cavities, and which areas she was going to watch for now and why. I really appreciated the time she took with me. I never had a dentist explain things the way she did. It just made sense. I feel good about going to Premier for my dental care, the doctors really seem to have a passion for taking care of patients. Been searching for a good place to go to, and this might be the one. Had first appt today and everyone from the receptionist to the doc was really friendly and professional. Though it seemed they were pushing a bit for Invisalign treatment, there was no extra pressure, it's just something to be mindful of. Otherwise, best gentle cleaning I ever had, all modern equipment, and great office overall. More
10.1.18 - Bi-annual teeth cleaning. The front desk is organized and very scripted, but there is a practical awareness to how they operate. My RHD did a fantastic job of cleaning my teeth and adjusted the sessions to accommodate certain discomforts I have with the process. The post cleaning consultation was concise and smooth. But first I want to express how PDA really is unlike every other doctor’s office I’ve been to (in the best ways possible) and these are the reasons why:1) Extremely efficient. PDA is like a well-oiled machine.. whenever I visit, there are always a few patients in the waiting room, yet appointments are always timely (never wait more than 5 minutes after your appointment time).2) Excellent bedside manners, particularly noticeable at the front desk (friendly receptionists.. it really is groundbreaking!) - when booking appointments, checking in, and checking out. Such a breath of fresh air.3) The most noteworthy difference is that while at most places there is a huge dissonance between the billing department and the doctors, the doctors here are knowledgeable of or actually try to HELP you figure out your costs depending on your insurance. How many times have we heard doctors unhelpfully drone out, "It depends on your insurance, check yourself." Most docs couldn’t care less whether they are getting $ from the patient or insurance. They just want to bill whoever for as much as possible. Thus explains my being absolutely floored today when Dr. Ritholtz pulled up my insurance information right then and there on the computer and confirmed how much my out-of-pocket would be for Invisalign. And then later upon check-out, Christine was on the phone with my insurance, ensuring that the cost would be reimbursed so that I received the molds in a timely manner. Well-oiled machine, I say!4) Marie! She’s has been my hygienist for the past few visits and by far has been my favorite. She’s so friendly and most importantly, her cleanings are efficient yet effective. I usually hate the dentist because the vibrating water pic of death just scares the bejesus out of me and creates a bloodbath in my mouth, but Marie is SO gentle! I really don’t mind my visits anymore - I hope she stays here forever (jk) because she’s an absolute gem! More

Jokes aside, I've been coming here for general cleanings since 2014 and I have to say that the team here is amazing - especially Natasha and Menna - they're so nice and thorough I almost get sad when the visit is over. This year I decided to get Invisalign and my experience with Dr. Galler and Dr. Ritholtz has been phenomenal. Got my invasalign done here. Dr. Ritholtz and his team treated my teeth in less time than expected. I am extremely happy with the results and the team here. Getting appointments has never been an issue and I was always able to work around my work schedule very well. Looking forward to coming back for my next cleaning. More
Premier Dental Associates offers a great staff of hygienists and very thorough cleaning. I'm grateful that my insurance offers multiple cleanings each year, which is why I come here regularly. I initially visited the practice because I was impressed by my first visit with Gus, and found that Marie and Catherine offer stellar cleaning of my teeth as well. All the hygienists are personal and professional. And they provide handy goody bags with a replacement toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, floss, and lip balm - a nice touch. I also took my child here for her first dentist visit earlier this year, and it went well without her being traumatized :) Penny toys, the assistant dressed as Dr. Seuss, and a new toothbrush put her over the top. I can't speak too much for the dentists since (thankfully) I don't have any issues with my teeth. I do hear they rotate a lot here. But for cleanings and speedy visits, Premier does well. I'm in and out of the office in less than an hour. More

He was personable, funny, and most importantly he explained the cleaning process and I did not feel pain or discomfort for a second during it. My teeth are officially straight now!!!!!!! So happy after a few long months (long to me anyway), I can finally have the teeth I always wanted! I came for my cleaning and was told that it only takes a few months to straighten out my bottom 2 teeth , so I went for it and am so glad I did!!! Dr. Galler is the best, very efficient, humorous and with great attention to details!!! Highly recommend to whoever is still debating about invisalign. More

Best dentist office ever!!! I was super nervous for my appt because I haven’t been to the dentist since I was under my parents’ insurance (I’m in my mid 30s now). So yeah, super nervous and super embarrassed. I expected to get scolded with a long lecture but I got the opposite. Mercedes greeted me, led me to the exam room and gave me advice on what to do. Calmed my nerves down and was so caring. Dr. Elkin was also super sweet and helpful. I had to come back a week later to get a root canal. Dr. Cohen made the experience as great as can be. When I came back for my post-root canal checkup and filling yesterday, Mercedes greeted me again and helped Dr. Elkin throughout the appt. It was great to see the same faces again.I had my husband and 3 year old daughter come to this practice as well. My husband wasn’t happy with his diagnosis but when he went to get a second opinion from a family friend, they confirmed this place is legit.My daughter had a wonderful experience as well. The staff really knows what they’re doing, no matter what age the patient is. I highly recommend this practice to all ages and for the entire family. They have specialists for everything! For general checkups, root canals, teeth cleaning, kids appts, all the way down to the finance dept. They give you a breakdown of what insurance covers vs what you need to pay out of pocket. So far I have had a cleaning, filling (broken filling repaired), Invisalign consult and Invisalign first appointment. Every time I go to Premier Dental it is a truly pleasant experience. Here's the breakdown: The receptionists have all been helpful, kind, patient and understanding. A great office staff is so important, especially when issues come up (i.e., my running late, missing an appointment, asking a million questions, etc.). They've been nicer than they needed to be, and that is really rare. SHERRI, who did my cleaning, was one of the most genuinely nice people I have encountered in a medical setting. Not only did she do an amazing job (and I hadn't had a cleaning in years, so it was a big job), but she was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. I highly recommend her. If you have any sort of apprehension about getting a cleaning, request her. She is a saint. Dr. Viego is great. Granted, you spend less time with the dentist than the dental hygienist, but every time I've seen her I've felt 100% comfortable. She is extremely skilled - she fixed a broken filling of mine and I felt absolutely no pain. She's also just a lovely person. Dr. Galler will be my Invisalign guru for the next 10 months. So far every interaction has been positive. He's super personable and clearly he is talented. Hopefully I will be checking back with a successful Invisalign experience! Also, I forget the name of his assistant, but she is very good! Overall, it sounds crazy, but going to Premier Dental hardly feels like going to the dentist. Never in a million years did I think I would be leaving a 5 star review for a dental office, but the team at Premier Dental Associates is the absolute best. I recommend them to anyone who will listen. I have never had a bad experience over the past 3 years of being a patient for both cleanings and Invisalign. I recently finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Galler and could not be happier with my results! I was a particularly difficult case thanks to a genetic "deformity" in my top and bottom jaw, (seriously just mention my name at your next Invisalign appointment or consultation and he will tell you himself, I am a medical miracle) but Dr. Galler stuck it out with me and provided excellent care. He wasn't the first person to tell me I needed my jaw broken and reset, but he was the first person who I truly believed had my best interest at heart and would be skilled enough to see me through the process and recovery. My "deformity" (which sounds much more dramatic than it was) required orthognathic surgery (the breaking of the top and bottom jaw to be better positioned) and Dr. Galler worked seamlessly with my surgeon at Weill Cornell, Dr Behrman on my plan. If anyone needs this sort of surgery I highly recommend him as well. The entire process took 2.5 years thanks to stopping Invisalign for a few months and starting again post surgery, but the results were absolutely worth the wait. I get compliments all the time and people refuse to believe that my before pictures are even my teeth after seeing what I look like today. I am so grateful for Dr. Galler's expertise and kindness throughout this entire process and journey. I genuinely miss seeing him and Natasha every month. I still can't believe the dramatic difference in my face and side profile. The man is a magician. You will not regret becoming a patient of his. More

The entire process took 2.5 years thanks to stopping Invisalign for a few months and starting again post surgery, but the results were absolutely worth the wait. I get compliments all the time and people refuse to believe that my before pictures are even my teeth after seeing what I look like today. I am so grateful for Dr. Galler’s expertise and kindness throughout this entire process and journey. I genuinely miss seeing him and Natasha every month. I still can’t believe the dramatic difference in my face and side profile. The man is a magician. You will not regret becoming a patient of his. More

I originally came to Premier Dental because a co-worker said she loved her dentist and I needed to have my check-up. I had a great cleaning and realized that the dentists there also did great Invisalign treatments. I asked for more information and eventually decided to do it because my wedding was coming. I am happy to say that Dr. Galler did an AMAZING job on my teeth. I get so many compliments on how straight and white they look. I was finally able to get straight teeth after 28 years in pretty much 5 months!! I highly recommend getting your Invisalign done with Dr. Galler =) More

I looked up on the internet for a dental office close to my office. I needed an urgent appointment because one of my fillings (done somewhere else) had come out! Found Premier Dental next door and Dr. Danzi could accommodate me the very next day. She took a look and said it was a piece of cake and fixed it. She looked at my other teeth and asked if I would like to get that big awkward gap between my front teeth fixed. I said I would be glad to. Immediately she got Dr. Galler to take a look. Dr. Galler said he could rectify it in 6 months using invisalign. Natasha, his assistant took pictures quickly and this was done in 30-40 min. My braces were ready soon and I started wearing them. In 3 months, I started seeing results and now after 6 months, I would say Dr. Galler is Picaso of dentistry. He showed me my earlier picture and the one taken today and I was so happy to see the drastic change!! I'd to get my frenum between the teeth cut and they have Dr. Neer who did it in 10 min and I didn't feel a thing. And yeah, I got my wisdom tooth removed too :-) So, they are one stop shop! In 6 months, I'm so much better and thanks to the wonderful team at Premier Dental. I would recommend these guys 100%!! Good luck to all you guys at Premier!! More

Finally a dentist in NY that cares about taking time and not rushing through an appointment! Dr. Hertz and his assistant Sarah were so nice, caring and patient with me. I have always had terrible gums and they were really great about it and did an amazing cleaning without causing me too much pain. I so happy I have found a dentist I can stick with! More

Dr Galler works really swiftly, so you're never in his chair very long - but you kind of want to hang out a little longer and chat with him. He's VERY comfortable to be around and that means a lot to me. Being at the dentist can make me anxious, but I always felt at ease with Dr Galler and I am thrilled with the results. I am no longer embarrassed by my smile! When my first round of trays were over he asked me if I wanted a few more months because the bottoms were "90% there" and he wanted them closer to 100% because he's a "perfectionist". Well, I guess you don't fall in the top 1% Invisalign Dr in the North East without being one. He didn't even charge me for the extra trays, which I thought was over and beyond. I live in Queens and I will still make the trip down to lower Manhattan to continue to have this office take care of my teeth. I heart my dentist! More

I had previously shopped around to get prices for Invisalign and kept feeling like the dental office was trying to rip me off. I went to this office on recommendation of my brother, and I got a very reasonable price, significantly better than most quotes I got. I finished the Invisalign treatment a few years ago and was pleased with my results. Since I started going to that office for Invisalign, I also went there for my regular dental appointments and cleanings. Like many people out there, dentists scare me. So, when I woke up this morning and had a emergency need to visit a dentist, I came across Premier Dental Associates on zocdoc.com. I saw they had open appointment times listed (within the hour) and was a bit skeptical. Seeing all of these other Yelpers with positive reviews definitely helped put me at ease. So, I made an appointment and walked down there an hour later since my office is a few blocks away from them. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and assured me it would be quick and painless. Sure enough, it was just that! I will surely be back whenever my next dental emergency arises. Like many people out there, dentists scare me. So, when I woke up this morning and had a emergency need to visit a dentist, I came across Premier Dental Associates on zocdoc.com. I saw they had open appointment times listed (within the hour) and was a bit skeptical. Seeing all of these other Yelpers with positive reviews definitely helped put me at ease. So, I made an appointment and walked down there an hour later since my office is a few blocks away from them. I've been in the city for a while now and I realized it was time I really dragged myself to the dentist. I have to say I am relieved and pleasantly surprised. Someone mentioned that the office looks a bit like a spa and I have to agree. It is a much more relaxing atmosphere in which to wait, especially if the thought of seeing a dentist makes one a bit nervous as it does me. The front office staff were helpful, friendly, and professional. Alma was gentle with the cleaning, very thorough, and didn't talk to me like I was some sort of jackass. Sadly I cannot remember my dentist's name and she is not currently on the website but I immediately liked her. Rather than coming in and recommending expensive and frightening dental work she told me I will likely need some crowns but there is no rush. She seemed to understand not everyone is thrilled out drills in their mouths. Even the dental assistant was a sweetie. All in all, I am glad to have found this place. More

First, the Office is very clean and calming. The staff is fun and welcoming as soon as you enter. Second, Sheri is very through and explains everything to you that she is doing. we hummed along to songs and joked. She cleaned my teeth without any pain. Sheri also asked how I was doing throughout the cleaning. Third, Michele and Natasha took my X-rays and explained everything and even went over my x-rays with me before the doctor did. Now, Dr. Danielle Danzi Goodwin AWESOME and fun! We had matching watches which gave us something to talk and laugh about. Dr. Danzi went tooth by tooth with me in the exam room. We created and "dental action plan" which I loved. We discussed our options going forward. She gave me the reassurance that everything is going to be ok and beautiful. I can not wait to go back and see her! Darcy, guided me through my insurance information and payments. Everything was explained to me without any hesitation. I for once felt conformable asking medical questions and knew I was getting the correct answer and even if they did not know the answer at the time, they will reach out and get the answer for me. I can not wait to go back and get my work started and finished. I truly enjoyed every minuet of my visit. I am definitely recommending them to anyone who is looking for a dentist. FOR SURE! More

I've had several negative doctor experiences in Manhattan, so I used ZocDoc to try and find a good dentist. My hygienist was Alma and my doctor is Dr. Danielle Danzi. Alma is a great hygienist, explains everything and answers questions. I haven't been to a dentist in forever, and she wasn't judgmental. I've never had a hygienist who could explain x-rays before either. Her cleaning was gentle but thorough. Highly recommended. Dr. Danzi has a smile on her face at all times (or at least it seems), probably one of the nicest doctor's I've seen of any kind in NYC. I had to come back in for a filling, and she was fast and it was painless (minus the pinch for the anesthetic). An amazing experience (yes, I getting a filling was amazing!) Lastly I saw Dr. Gellar for Invisalign, he is expensive but he's really great. He worked with me to be flexible about the down payment and a payment plan, and he was really thorough in answering my questions and explaining the process. I feel like he understands that people are nervous when making such a big financial commitment and goes out of his way to make you as comfortable as possible. He even diagnosed a problem that no other dentist has ever mentioned, and told me how to fix it so my invisalign purchase would not be in vain! The front desk staff is kind, courteous and goes above and beyond to be helpful. The office is beautiful, as another reviewer said, it looks like a spa. They're walking distance from the A/C and R trains...not hard to get to at all. LOVE this place!! More
